Founded by a group of friends in 2008, DefendTheHouse is a YouTube channel most known for creating the video game “Mythbusters” series. Here, the friends get together to put fun interactions, odd glitches, and other fun ideas to the test in a large variety of games, most notably in the Call of Duty, Halo, Battlefield, and Grand Theft Auto series.

With an emphasis on creating high-quality original content and pushing back against short-lived trends, DefendTheHouse has managed to adapt and expand to keep on top of the ever-changing landscape of YouTube. The original idea of a channel about friends having fun playing games together has persisted over their years together, but Joe and Jamison have expanded the core ideas of quality and originality into much more. Today, you’ll find a wide variety of other video endeavors that include the long-form, multi-year project “We Have Never Played Call of Duty Zombies”; cinematic, graphical showcases via their “The Beauty of Games” series; gaming discussions; and more.
